Learned the basics of accessing data for presentation and report building. Used tools like Microsoft Power BI Report Builder and SQL Server Management Studio in the connection, construction and management of reports. 

• Create detailed, summary and exception reports utilizing report building tools
• Query and transform SQL data inside of reports
• Design reports with effectively styled data

• Create database and manage backups using SQL Server Developer and Management Studio (SSMS)
• Create and run database creation scripts
• Connection and configuration of data sources using ODBC

• Identify effective visualization types for effectively presenting a variety of data
• Transform data by selecting, filtering or grouping for creating complex visualizations
• Utilize aggregate functions to perform data calculations

This course built on foundation knowledge from BI Data 1, exploring the capabilities of Power BI Desktop further and introducing Power BI Service. Using SSMS to manage data from a variety of sources I transformed and visualized data from multiple source types.

• Utilize interactive report elements to effectively present complex data
• Deployment of reports and introduction to dashboards in Power BI service

• Explore key data security requirements including Row Level Security rules and roles
• Configuration of Row Level Security in Power BI

In my final Business Intelligence course I worked to solidify my report creation skills, focusing on both the analysis and design of reports. The experience boosted my proficiency in delivering visually appealing analysis.
